Ambruster Residence – Balcony Deck Replacement
Location: San Diego, CA
This project involved a complete balcony deck reconstruction after the existing structure failed during the initial demolition phase. When the original deck was opened up, extensive structural damage was discovered, and the balcony ultimately collapsed during removal.
Our team rebuilt the entire balcony from the ground up, reinforcing the framing and support system to exceed modern structural standards. Once the new frame was installed, we applied fresh stucco to seamlessly match the existing exterior finish of the home.
The new deck surface was finished using a durable epoxy decking system, providing superior waterproofing, long-term protection, and a clean, uniform look that blends perfectly with the home’s architecture.
